15 - final poster for print CUTTING EDGEOn March 15th the completed project, Cutting Edge, of the 2014 LMI-BFI London Workshop will premiere at BFI-Southbank.

The project will screen at 11:00, and will be followed by a showing of Tim Reid’s documentary about Oscar Micheaux. Cutting Edge highlights the results a woman experiences when she sells herself out to promoting the latest trends and fads of the day, to the detriment of her culture. Nula is a recognized and respected social blogger who has promoted (and also created) a series of physical transformations to her followers that eventually lead her down the path to her eventually taking the ultimate stand against all of it.

The screening will be a part of the “Graduation Recognition” of the British filmmakers who participated in the workshop, and previous workshop graduates are welcome, as well as other supporters of independent filmmaking.

Tickets are available at the Ticket Office at BFI-Southbank.
